Backhaul Links

Backing our backhaul

Our Australia-wide network has protected 100G links to all nbn POI's. Our current network includes 800G backbone between POPs within the same state, 800G between Melbourne and Sydney, 100G between Perth and Sydney, 100G between Perth and Melbourne, 800G between Sydney and Brisbane, 100G between Adelaide and Sydney, 100G between Adelaide and Melbourne, and 100G between Adelaide and Perth. All links are on diverse paths.

Our current peering partners include:

  • Amazon
  • Apple
  • Akamai
  • Any2IX
  • BBIX
  • Blizzard
  • ByteDance
  • Cloudflare
  • EdgeIX
  • Edgio
  • Equinix IX
  • Fetch TV
  • Fastly
  • Google
  • MegaIX
  • Meta
  • Microsoft
  • Netflix

Having a direct partnership with these partners ensures that you get the bandwidth you need from the service you are using - for example, when that latest Counter-strike patch drops on Valve's servers, or the new season of Stranger Things hits Netflix.
