Game with us at the PAX Australia Aussie Broadband Arcade!

It’s Melbourne International Games Week, and to celebrate Aussie Broadband has teamed up with PAX Australia and some of Australia’s favourite gaming content creators to create the Aussie Broadband Arcade.

Located near the front of the Expo Hall, the modern arcade experience will feature over 25 arcade experiences, ranging from classics like Ms. Pac-Man and Space Invaders, through to Star Wars Battle Pods, Dance Dance Revolution, Air Hockey and more.

Anyone who swings by the booth from Friday, October 7 to Sunday, October 9, can go in the running to win a PS5 bundle including a full-size PS5 console, a DualSense controller and a copy of the critically acclaimed open-world adventure Horizon: Forbidden West.

There’ll also be prizes given away every day, as well as meet and greets from some of Australia’s top gaming content creators.

Back Pocket, the Australian video game variety show hosted by former Good Game crew Stephanie ‘Hex’ Bendixsen, Nich ‘Nichboy’ Richardson, Gus ‘Goose’ Ronald and Peter ‘Pierreth’ Burns, will be at the booth every day from 11.00am to 11.30am with their “Aussie Gamer Helpline” segment.

The booth will also be MC’d by Jessie “Geekgg” James, who will kick off each day at the booth from 10.00am. Geekgg will also be hosting a meet & greet at the arcade on Friday, October 7, at 11.00am.

Local Final Fantasy XIV content creator SarahJane will be hosting a meet and greet at the Aussie Broadband Arcade on Saturday, October 8 from around 12.30pm. Musician Jon Ong will also be playing live renditions of video game music from the Arcade on Sunday, October 9 from around 12.30pm.
