Aussie Broadband has taken out gold at the Reader’s Digest Quality Service Awards for the third year in a row.

The awards are determined by a quality service survey of approximately 2500 Australians across 33 categories. Respondents were asked to rank their experiences on questions around Personalisation, Understanding, Simplicity, Satisfaction and Consistency.

“We are honoured to have once again been named a gold winner at the Quality Service Awards in the Internet Service Providers category,” said Aussie Broadband Managing Director Phillip Britt. “These awards are special because they’re voted on by everyday consumers and revolve around customer service, a key area we strive to continuously excel in.”

“I can never overstate just how crucial our team are to delivering that excellent customer service, and this recognition wouldn’t be possible without their hard work.”

Aussie Broadband's success in customer service has been underpinned by several key pillars that continue to resonate with customers. Along with basing all of its call centres in Australia, the company publishes usage graphs online for added transparency, customer service staff are empowered to resolve all issues on the first call, scripts are only used for compliance purposes, its call centre staff are not measured against quotas, and the company continually invests in innovative automations that improve the customer experience with initiatives such as the award-winning Fault Detector Project.

“Keeping Australians seamlessly connected and supported when they need it most is why Aussie Broadband is the leader in customer service among internet service providers,” said Reader’s Digest magazine Editor-in-Chief Louise Waterson.

“In winning Gold in the Reader’s Digest Quality Service Awards for 2024 for Internet Service Providers, Aussie Broadband has shown that their commitment to an Australian-based customer service team devoted to helping their customers is a winning strategy. Congratulations to all the team at Aussie Broadband for this outstanding achievement.”

The win follows Aussie Broadband’s recent announcement that it has been named Australia's Most Trusted Telco for the second year running by Roy Morgan, and the 34th most trusted brand in Australia.
