Aussie Broadband tops the telco charts for the 3rd month in a row

Media Release | Friday 31 Jan 2020 | 1 min read

Aussie Broadband has topped the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards for the 3rd month in a row, with an impressive customer service rating of 92%.

The company received the award for ISP of the Month for November 2019.

According to Roy Morgan, this places Aussie well ahead of TPG Telecom brands, TPG and Internode (both 79%) and iiNet (77%) and Vocus Communications-owned iPrimus (78%).

Telstra and Optus both scored below the average.

Aussie Broadband’s Managing Director Phillip Britt said, “We’re absolutely delighted to receive such a high ranking. We’re a small telco but we’re definitely punching well above our weight. This proves bigger doesn’t always mean better!”

Aussie Broadband is a rapidly growing internet service provider – with a reputation for providing high-quality internet and transparent customer service.

Phil said these awards are important because they’re based on surveys from actual customers.

“We find that our Australian-based team is often one of the things customers love best about Aussie Broadband. We have a fantastic team of staff in all call centres who are really focused on helping people. This award belongs to them,” he said.

The telco has grown from 18,300 to 185,000 customers in the last 3 years. Phil said that Aussie has consistently shown that it can change the telco game in Australia.

“We’ve shown that even with rapid growth, we can deliver quality, value and consistency to our customers. Customer feedback – whether it’s positive or negative – is critical to us, so thank you to everyone who contributed to the survey. We are extremely happy to receive this award,” Phil said.

Aussie Broadband has also been recognised for its excellent customer service in Canstar Blue’s national awards last year, the ACOMM Award for Commitment to Customer Service (2019) and ProductReview’s category for Best Internet Service Providers (2020, 2019, and 2018).
