Aussie Broadband’s award-winning service has continued its winning ways, with Canstar announcing the company as its inaugural Most Trusted Internet Plan Provider. Aussie also took out two other Canstar awards for its broadband product and service, including Best NBN Provider and Best Internet & Entertainment Bundles for 2023.

Aussie Broadband was rated as the best possible provider amongst 16 other telcos for its NBN service. Aussie Broadband was the only provider to receive five stars across each one of Canstar’s categories: speed and reliability, customer service, value for money, ease of setup, bill and cost clarity, and overall satisfaction.

Similarly, Aussie Broadband’s Internet & Entertainment bundles were the only ones to receive 5 stars across all categories. It’s the second year in a row in which Aussie has won the Internet & Entertainment category.

“This wouldn’t be possible without the tireless efforts of everyone within Aussie who work every day to provide the best possible service to our customers,” Brian Maher, Aussie Broadband’s Chief Financial Officer said. “The last couple of years have been incredibly busy for everyone at Aussie, with the transition towards working from home and the added demands that Australians have of their broadband and mobile connections.”

“Our customers routinely tell us how much they appreciate the extra mile that Aussie goes to, and it takes an enormous team effort to continually deliver that service. We’ve grown from 20,000 customers several years ago to over 654,000 customers today, and throughout that entire time we’ve made sure that Aussie customers are treated as people, not a number,” Brian added.

“The challenges for telcos post-COVID are greater than ever, and Australians are only expected to rely on their internet more and more in the years to come. With that comes a need for reliability, fast speeds and high quality customer service, and we’re thrilled that Canstar has once again acknowledged Aussie Broadband for the great work our team does.”

"Aussie Broadband has made a stellar return to the number-one spot in our annual series of Internet ratings, taking out Canstar Blue's Most Satisfied Customers awards in the NBN Providers category - which it has previously won in 2019 and 2020 - as well as the Internet & Entertainment Bundles category, with a perfect five-star score in both categories,” Canstar Blue Utilities Editor Tara Donnelly said.

"Aussie Broadband is also the inaugural winner of Canstar Blue’s Most Trusted Internet Providers award, a new award that recognises the broadband brand that has won the highest trust rating from its own customers when compared to other brands.

“The telco’s 2023 hat trick is an impressive achievement, as well as a testament to the service and support that Aussie Broadband delivers to its customers. While Aussie Broadband isn’t necessarily the very cheapest internet provider, competitive pricing and frequent special offers have made it a top pick for customers who want an affordable plan that doesn’t skimp on speed and performance. Aussie Broadband is also consistently highly-rated for customer service, thanks to its Australia-based support offering, as well as for the simplicity and flexibility of its plans, billing and set-up."

The win follows Aussie Broadband’s success as the most trusted telco in Australia. Roy Morgan rated Aussie Broadband as the most trusted telco at their Trusted Brand Awards last year, and this April the company announced Aussie Broadband as the 26th most trusted company in Australia. Canstar has also recognised Aussie Broadband previously for its industry-leading speed and service, with the company taking out Internet Service Provider of the year in 2020.
