Two-Factor Authentication

Last Updated: Tuesday 27 Feb 2024

We take your privacy and security very seriously, which is why we use two-factor authentication to protect your account by adding another level of security to your account.

Meaning, if someone had your details, they won’t be able to make any changes or purchases without the verification code.

The last thing we want is for someone that isn’t an authorised contact on your account to purchase an expensive router using your payment details.

How does it work?

It’s very simple.

When you call us and want to make changes or purchase hardware, we will send you a one-time code to the mobile/email on the account to verify that we are talking to right person.

Simply recite the code back to our agent and we’ll know it’s you!

The same will happen if you make a change on the MyAussie® app or portal.

What if I get the one-time code when I’m not expecting one?

If an unauthorised person is trying to make changes to your account and you get a one-time code, give us a call as soon as you can to let us know that you didn’t request any changes.
